for years to come, this naturally beautiful wood is the one for you. Even though it has self-protective qualities, it is recommended to seal your Redwood as needed.
Premium Pine is another great
option for your Play Set! Our Premium Preserved Pine undergoes a micronized
copper treatment process, which is GreenGuard™ certified as safe for children. Pine
is strong, dense, and cost effective,
while requiring less maintenance over time. The cost of Pine falls between
the cost for Redwood and Cedar and comes with a Lifetime warranty against rotting and termites.
Cedar swing sets give you the most "bang for your buck," offering great
value and many play options! Not only is Cedar cost effective, but it will last you many years to
come. Cedar is naturally resistant to rot, decay and termites. These sets come
with a 15 year warranty against rotting and termites. Since Cedar is a lighter and softer wood, it is recommended to be mindful of its care as it dries and acclimates to our changing climate.
